Restorative dental hygienist
Jenna Hawley
Jenna grew up between Cornwall and Kingston. She moved to Ottawa to attend Algonquin College for the Dental Assisting program where she was also a star athlete in collegiate soccer. While playing soccer at Algonquin, her team won the provincial championship three times and in 2013 she was the Canadian Player of the Year for Women’s college soccer.
After her soccer career fame, she assisted in an Ottawa dental office for 5 years but wanted to work towards becoming a restorative hygienist. She attended the Canadian National Institute of Health and became a dental hygienist in 2019. In June 2024, she will complete her restorative dental hygiene certificate from the University of Manitoba.
Jenna is finishing her maternity leave at the moment. Jenna and Dr. Hawley have 2 beautiful girls, a 3 year old daughter named Harper and a 1 year old names Wren. They also have a miniature poodle named Billie, that the girls adore.
